Giant Rattle Poppy (Papaver somniferum)
Details
Poppies thrive when sown directly in their final outdoor location rather than being transplanted. Can be planted outdoors once the seedlings are established. In growing zones 3–7, sow seeds in late autumn or early spring, even if a light frost is possible. In zones 8–10, plant these poppy seeds in late autumn or winter.
